What's Fire Preventive Block?

    When a building which is over 1,000 m2 in total floor area and structured with fire-resistant or incombustible materials, the building shall be separated into partitions by floor, walls and fire doors (including automatic shutters) that are made of fire-resistant materials to stop the fire from being spread into entire building.

    Types of firestop sealing vary depending on its purpose, floor, and vertical penetration.

    Firestop sealing shall be properly designed depending on the purpose, size, and shape of a building, and the fire resistant materials used for floor, walls and fire doors (fire shutters) shall endure fire for a certain number of hours.
